What this service is

A modern business runs on its network. When the Wi-Fi drops, the printers won't connect, the cloud apps stall, the VoIP phones go silent and a thousand small frustrations compound into lost productivity. Busiquip designs, installs and supports business-grade networks across Eswatini — from a single-office Wi-Fi mesh in Mbabane to multi-site WANs spanning Matsapha, Big Bend, Mhlume and Manzini with resilient failover routing where fibre is unreliable.

We work with proven, locally-supportable brands — Ubiquiti, MikroTik, Cisco, FortiGate, TP-Link Omada — not whatever was cheapest at the supplier. We plan for redundancy where it matters, document everything we install (rack diagrams, IP plans, port maps, Wi-Fi heat maps), and leave behind a network your next IT person can pick up and operate without ringing us at 11pm. When something does go wrong — and over the years it always eventually will — you call one number and a Busiquip technician is on the way.

What we do

Structured cabling

Cat6, Cat6A and fibre cabling — neatly run, properly tested, labelled at both ends. Cable certification reports issued on handover.

Business-grade Wi-Fi

Site-survey-driven Wi-Fi design and installation. Ubiquiti UniFi, TP-Link Omada, Aruba Instant On — sized for the user count and the building.

Routing, switching & VLAN design

Layer-2 / Layer-3 networks with VLAN segmentation, QoS for voice and video, and DHCP / DNS done properly.

Firewalls & VPN

FortiGate, pfSense, OPNsense, MikroTik. Site-to-site VPN, remote-worker VPN, application-aware filtering, intrusion prevention.

Multi-branch WAN

SD-WAN and traditional WAN designs linking head office to branches in Manzini, Siteki, Nhlangano and beyond. Resilient routing with failover.

Network monitoring

24/7 network monitoring with alerting on outages, utilisation thresholds and equipment health. Monthly reports for management.

IP CCTV & access control

IP camera systems and door-access integrated with the network — Hikvision, Dahua, Uniview, Suprema.

Rack tidy-ups

Yes, really. We will redo the cable management on your existing rack so your next technician can actually trace a fault.

Network documentation

IP plans, rack diagrams, port maps and Wi-Fi heat maps delivered on handover and updated on every change.

Our process

1

Survey

On-site survey: existing cabling, signal strength, dead zones, user count, application mix, growth plans. We measure, not guess.

2

Design

Network diagram, equipment list, IP plan, rack layout and SZL-priced quote. We explain trade-offs in plain language so non-technical decision-makers can sign off with confidence.

3

Install

Cabling, equipment install, configuration, testing and labelling. Scheduled around your business hours — most cut-overs happen on a Saturday morning.

4

Support

Optional monitoring, monthly reports and SLA-backed support. Or pay-per-call if your team handles day-to-day and only calls us for fault recovery.

What you get

Every engagement ends with concrete deliverables — you don't pay for slides, you pay for outcomes.

Network design pack (topology, IP plan, rack diagram)
Wi-Fi heat map (predicted and post-install validated)
Cable certification reports
Configuration backups of every device
Labelled patch panels, switches and access points
Operations handover document and admin training
Optional managed monitoring dashboard

Frequently asked questions

How big a network can you handle?

From a 5-user home office up to multi-site enterprises with 500+ users. Our largest deployments cover factories on the Matsapha Industrial Estate, sugar estates in Lubombo, and government departments with multiple branch offices.

Do you offer 24/7 support?

Business hours support is included on all managed contracts. 24/7 SLA support is available for retail, hospitality, healthcare, and any business that runs outside office hours.

Can you upgrade an existing network without ripping it out?

Yes. Most of our jobs are upgrades — adding capacity, replacing failing equipment, redesigning Wi-Fi for new floor plans. We assess what works, keep what does, and replace what doesn't.

How long does a typical office Wi-Fi install take?

For a 10 to 30-person office, plan on 1 to 2 days on site after the design is signed off. Cabling adds 1 to 3 more days depending on drop count.

Can you cable a new building from scratch?

Yes. Greenfield cabling is a regular part of our work — typically 30 to 200+ drops with patch panels, fibre risers between floors, and a properly-built comms room. We coordinate with builders, electricians and access-control installers.
